Quiet Hours

All housemates and guests shall daily observe quiet hours from Midnight (12am) to 6am.  During these hours all electronics, including smartphones, TV and Computer Monitors, portable electronic devices, speakers, etc. are set in one of these modes 

. turned off

. turned on with headphones connected

. turned on with volume set very low       

so as not to disturb others. 

Any equipment or device, such as a vacuum cleaner, which makes a loud noise will not be run.

Telephone conversations should be made in your vehicle, if applicable, or kept at a low volume.

If you are hosting guests at "251", please notify your housemates at least 2 days in advance so they can make alternative arrangements.  If your housemates are on premise at 251, then please notify your guests of quiet hours at 251.

This "Quiet Hours" policy supports the "Quiet Enjoyment" clause stated in the South Carolina Lease Agreement each 251 housemate signs as stated below.     

"QUIET ENJOYMENT. 

Tenant, upon payment of all of the sums referred to herein as being payable by Tenant and Tenant's performance of all Tenant's agreements contained herein and Tenant's observance of all rules and regulations, shall and may peacefully and quietly have, hold and enjoy said Premises for the term hereof."
